So I run with purpose in every step. 

I am not just shadowboxing. 

I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.

Paul talks about our hearts and our minds, but here the focus is on our body.

What we do.

We're not unconnected, but we are an embodied soul, and what we do with our bodies matters. 

This from Sam Alberry in "What God has to say about our bodies";

"Becoming human at Christmas was not meant to be reversible. It was permanent. There is now a human body sitting at the right hand of God the Father at the very center of heaven. Bodies matter. Jesus couldn't become a real human person without one."

Our bodies matter. They're not something we have but are what we are. 

And what we do with them matters.
